You have two options for downloading your captions.
I don't need to make changes to the transcript, and I don't have any special requirements
In this case, you can use the link in your Order Ready email. This will download the WebVTT captions format that is supported in most platforms. Another way to get to that file is from within your dashboard. Navigate to your file, select the checkmark and choose Download.
This will open the Downloader. Click the button Download Captions For My Video.
This will select the WebVTT format. You can simply click Download, and the file will download to your system.
I need to make changes to the transcript, and/or I have special requirements
In this case, you'll need to open your file by clicking on it after navigating to it. When the file opens, you'll be able to review and make any needed changes to your transcript.
Click on Options to bring up the settings that can be adjusted for your exports.
Once you're ready to download, click on the Export tab. This will open the Downloader. Again, you can choose Download Captions For My Video. Or you select any format you'd like. Then click Download.
